Internet Access
Free wireless internet is available throughout the Club. Wired internet access is also available in all function rooms. Login is required; see below for details.
- Wireless Internet
- From the list of available networks, select "Harvard University". Once connected, open your web browser and go to any web site beginning with http: (not https:). When prompted to log in to the CAIT Network, use your Harvard ID and PIN. Visitors may log in with the user name "visitor" and password "visitor" to gain limited network access.
- Wired Internet Access
- Connect your computer's network card to a data jack in your room with a RJ45 data cable. Once connected, open your web browser and go to any web site beginning with http: (not https:). When prompted to log in to the CAIT Network, use your Harvard ID and PIN. Visitors may log in with the user name "visitor" and password "visitor" to gain limited network access.
- Having Trouble?
- Be sure your computer's TCP/IP properties are set to obtain an IP address automatically (using DHCP). Also be sure to log in to the CAIT Network via a web browser before doing anything else on the internet. For assistance with connectivity issues, contact the DLS Help Desk at (617) 495-8411.
