Reading Room

Membership at the Harvard Faculty Club entitles you to full use of the Club, including bedrooms, dining rooms, private events and meetings, guest privileges, and the use of reciprocal clubs located throughout the world.

How to Become a Member

Determine your eligibility using the Membership Eligibility chart as a guide, and activate your membership using our online form or our printable form. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing. Associate (alumni/ae) members should allow up to 10 days to receive their membership card. All members may begin using the Club's facilities immediately.

Membership Card

Faculty, staff, students, retirees, and beneficiaries use their Harvard ID as a membership card. Associate (alumni/ae) members will receive a special membership card. Please bring your membership card with you when visiting, and be prepared to present it to the dining room host.

Payment of Charges

Charges must be paid at the time of your visit. The Club accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and personal checks. Payroll deduction is available for Harvard faculty and staff. To change your billing method, please fill out a new member information form.

Guest Privileges

Faculty Club members may extend privileges to others by filling out a guest sponsor card. The card is valid for one day only.

Reciprocal Clubs

Harvard Faculty Club members have reciprocal privileges with clubs belonging to the Association of College and University Clubs (ACUC).
